EGO Translating Company took second place in a recent rating of the largest translation agencies for 2013.
Translationrating.ru is an independent expert catalogue-rating of leading Russian translation agencies. The rating is compiled on the basis of a survey of translation market players.
The 2013 report is the third annual rating based on turnover data provided by companies, and the organisers note that "translation agencies may publish and confirm the data on a voluntary basis. The table was compiled on the basis of a survey of 114 large companies. The total turnover of participants is more than USD 150 million, with staff numbers exceeding 3,500 employees."
EGO Translating Company, according to rating data, demonstrated growth of 6%, prompting the company’s elevation from 6th to 2nd place on the list.
As Natalia Molchanova, President of EGO Translating Company, puts it, "over the 24 years of our company's presence on the market, we have always been active in the development of the Russian translation industry. In my opinion, projects such as translationrating.ru, despite incomplete information about all market participants, help to promote the translation industry as a whole.
